IBTS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization helping local governments provide high-quality, cost-effective services, manage risk, and meet new challenges through public/non-profit partnerships. Established to provide unbiased professional services, IBTS is committed to promoting enduring solutions to strengthen communities, enhancing trust and confidence in governance and empowering people to serve communities - all with the goal of lessening the burdens of government.
With over 30 years of experience providing these services and oversight for the housing and construction industry throughout the United States, we boast the greatest level of capability and experience available.
As a reputable and nationwide technical services provider, IBTS has the capacity and commitment to attract and retain highly qualified and experienced personnel. IBTS staff members hold an extremely wide range of certifications and professional licenses, and the average IBTS inspector has fifteen years of experience. IBTS has a nationwide staff of over 120, and works with more than 40 of the industry's most respected and knowledgeable consultants, including engineers, architects, plan reviewers, inspectors, trainers and energy and regulatory specialists.
